As much as I stunt, floss and get dipped, I’m still susceptible to getting washed. As much as I think I’m unbreakable like a Bruce and Samuel flick, I can easily cave in. As much as I try to be cognizant of my surroundings, I can get blindslided. As much as I wish for change, I’m scared that change won’t happen. As much as I pray to the Man above, I’m afraid he ain’t hearing me. As much as I put forth my efforts, I’m not sure they’ll affect anything. As much as I run, I hope I’m running toward my destination rather than away from it. As much as I hear things, I need to build on the positive and learn from the negative. As much as I parallel myself to Superman, I found my kryptonite. As much as I want something, I must handle with care. As much as I believe, my thoughts are starting to waver. As much as I like to be in control, the issues are out of my grasp. As much as I bug out, I’m thinking of using bug repellant. As much as I dream, I’m hanging by a moment, hoping to climb back up.
